Trine is eye candy :3

It's no Uncharted 2 of course, but for a downloadble it is absolutely beautiful. I didn't get to log much play-time, but so far the platforming seems solid as well. Even in the small amount of time I've spent with it, it feels like I'm actually getting my money's worth. That's more than I could say for Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty, Pain, or Piyotama.

Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty Don't get me wrong...I'm a huge R&C fan, but Quest for Booty was over way too soon for the price of admission.

Pain This is the kind of fun where you don't really have to use your brain and is best shared with a group of people. I'm lacking in the "group of people" department since all my friends are on the other side of the state. AND they refuse to get PS3s.

Piyotama "Boring" sums this one up quite nicely. "Stupid" would be a bit too far because even the quirky games can be fun, this one just missed the mark.

I've got to say, the last time I bought a downloadable game where I thought "Hey, this is way worth it. In fact, I feel like I ripped them off!" was when I got Wipeout HD. I hope Trine ends up as one of those games. So far it's well on its way.

Before anyone points it out, yes - I realize that the "Other Content" to "Trine Content" ratio of this post is horrible. I can't type about what I haven't played properly yet!
